Vic Time Attack

What is Vic Time Attack?

Vic Time Attack is an annual event running at the famous Phillip Island GP Circuit. Set against the most picturesque backdrop with its high-speed corners it is a bucket list track for many racers. Many teams travel from interstate to compete and test their skills against the best in their Class.

Generally, there are 6 x 15-minute sessions for competitors of each Class across the day, maximising track time for the drivers/ teams and cars. Safety is of the utmost priority and as such, there is a high level of both fire and recovery teams on hand in case the need arises. A team of paramedics with an ambulance also supports the event day.

VTA follows the same rules as WTAC with a few slight adjustments. Please read attached rules and regs on our website.
The main rule change is that VTA does not have a restriction on tyre branding i.e. ADVAN Yokohama 050 semi slick may be replaced with an equivalent tyre of any brand for Modified class and for Street class minimum tread wear of 140utq

Our classes are as follows.

  • Unlimited (WTAC Pro) Class
  • Modified (WTAC Open) Class
  • Street (WTAC Club Sprint) Class and finally our
  • Supercar Class (Street registered) has been added for this year
